When booking, you can choose the train you want to travel on to Ollantaytambo from Aguas Calientes station, which takes an hour and a half. On both of them, you'll have a cafeteria service on board where you can get yourself something to eat or drink.

If you choose the Expedition train mode, you'll cross the Peruvian Andes from Aguas Calientes station to Ollantaytambo. The landscapes that you'll cross on this trip will leave you breathless and you'll have a great view thanks to the large windows of the train.
On the Vistadome train, you'll travel in an original and fun way. The cars have panoramic windows in the walls and ceilings, allowing you to feel part of nature outside. While you enjoy the marvellous views, explanatory audio will tell you interesting facts about the places along the route to Ollantaytambo.
The trains to Machu Picchu have a very limited availability, so we recommend booking as much time in advance as possible. In the event that there are no seats available for the selected option, we'll offer you tickets on the equivalent services: Voyager instead of Expedition and 360 instead of Vistadome, always keeping the same route and the timetable as similar as possible.
After booking, 48 hours before the train departs, we'll send you your official tickets that will allow you to board the trains.
