If you have several days in Cajamarca and want to discover its surroundings with a guide exclusively for you, you can book any of our private tours. These tours last between 3.5 and 8 hours and include hotel pickup, transportation in a private vehicle and English–speaking guide.
We'll leave Cajamarca and head to the hacienda La Colpa, home to some of the most famous cows in the world. We'll discover the ancient traditions of its inhabitants and visit the chapel of the Virgen del Carmen.
Afterwards, we'll visit the Llacanora district, where we'll admire the spectacular waterfalls of this area of Peru. Finally, we'll visit the Incan Baths. We'll follow a route very similar to the one of the Hacienda La Colpa & Baños del Inca Excursion.
The excursion will begin in the town of Otuzco, where the famous Ventanillas de Otuzco are located. Did you know that there are more than 300 tombs carved in volcanic rock?
From here we'll head to the Tres Molinos hacienda, a farm that produces dairy products in a totally traditional way. The route will be very similar to the Ventanillas of Otuzco Day Trip.
We'll leave Cajamarca and drive to Cumbemayo, which is home to the well known "frailones". In addition, we'll explore this site with more than 3000 years of history. During the excursion we'll visit the aqueduct of Cumbemayo or the sanctuary.

We'll first visit the artisan workshops of Huambocancha, where stonecutters have been carving rocks for hundreds of years. We'll continue our excursion to the Porcon farm, located in the largest forest park in Peru.
In addition to contemplating the impressive landscapes that surround it, we'll discover its contribution to the protection of fauna and flora. Monkeys, vicuñas, deer, jaguars or pumas will be some of the species we'll discover during the tour. The itinerary will be very similar to that of the Porcón Farm + Huambocancha Tour.
From Cajamarca we'll go to Kuntur Wasi, the place where the oldest gold in the entire American continent was found. Located on La Colpa hill, we'll discover this necropolis belonging to the Chavin civilization. We'll enter the Kuntur Wasi Museum and tour the archaeological complex, where its temple, tombs and carved stone sculptures will leave you speechless.
