Lima Archaeology Tour & Dinner
At 5 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Callao or from the airport and start our archaeology tour of Lima. We'll travel through the different historic periods that the Peruvian capital has seen...
First of all, we'll go to the bohemian neighbourhood of Miraflores to visit Huaca Pucllana, an archaeological complex belonging to the ancient Lima civilization. This spot was a significant ceremonial and administrative centre between 200 and 700 AD.
Next, we'll explore the archaeological remains of Huaca Huallamarca in the San Isidro neighbourhood. You'll love its impressive truncated pyramid, which is the result of several restorations. We'll then go to the Larco Museum, which houses one of the most important exhibitions about pre-Columbian Peru.
After visiting Lima's main archaeological sites, we'll head to the Café del Museo restaurant and have a traditional three-course dinner. Bon appétit!
We'll then drive you back to Callao and drop you off at your hotel at around 10:30 pm.
