Venture through the Peruvian jungle to discover the magnificent Gocta Waterfall on this day trip from Chachapoyas. You'll also enjoy a delicious lunch!
After picking you up from your hotel at the indicated time, we'll leave Chachapoyas behind and head north to the town of Cocachimba.
When we arrive in Cocachimba, we'll set off on a 2-hour hike along its trails admiring the impressive plants and wildlife of the Peruvian jungle.
Then we'll reach the Gocta Waterfall (known by the locals as "La Chorrera") and marvel at this beautiful wonder of nature as it thunders down the rocks from 771 metres high! Did you know it was only discovered in 2002?
On the way back to Cocachimba, we'll find out all about the legends that surround the waterfall, such as mermaids and snakes that protect the region.
To finish off the trip and regain our strength, we'll enjoy lunch in a local restaurant, consisting of a starter, main course and drink. Finally, we'll take you back to your hotel in Chachapoyas, where we'll arrive 9 hours after pickup.
