We'll pick you up at your hotel in Delhi and set off to learn about the life of one of the most important characters in history, Mahatma Gandhi. Considered the Father of the Nation of India, we'll visit the most important locations relating to the life of the pacifist leader who led the movement towards Indian independence from British rule.
Our first stop will be Gandhi Smriti, the residence where Gandhi spent the last part of his life before he was assassinated by a Hindu radical in January 1948. We'll tour the house discovering some of the most relevant facts about his life. You'll also visit the small museum inside the building, which has a collection of objects associated with Gandhi.
The route will continue to Raj Ghat, on the banks of the sacred Yamuna river. Here we'll admire the memorial with the black platform that marks the location where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.
After a most inspiring route, we'll return to the hotels.
