At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel, the port or the airport and head to Panaji, the historic state capital of Goa.
We'll visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, where the body of St. Francis Xavier is laid to rest. Located in the old town of Goa, this is one of the most important pilgrimage shrines in all of India.
The tour will continue to the Se Cathedral, the largest church in Asia. Its impressive white façade, the huge bells, and ornate architecture make this cathedral one of the most historically important locations in Goa.
Then, we'll continue through the churches and monasteries of Goa, visiting the church San Francisco of Asis, the architecture of which is a perfect blend of Hindu and Christian elements. Another church that we'll encounter is Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, the first to be constructed in Goa.
Our final stop is the impressive temple of Mangeshi, dedicated to the god Shiva. After this 6-hour route through Goa, we'll return to the original departure point at around 3 pm.
