At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Guardalavaca and begin making our way towards Santiago de Cuba. Are you ready for this trip? We'll visit all the most beautiful corners of Cuba's second-biggest city.
Our first stop will be at the Plaza de la Revolución Square, an iconic location that has borne witness to many important historical events in Cuba. There, we'll admire the different monuments and learn more about the history of the country. Then we'll head to the Santa Ifigenia Cemetary, where the remains of famous individuals such as José Martí lay. In addition, we'll visit El Morro, a fort that protected the city of Santiago de Cuba from pirate attacks.
After exploring these historical sites, we'll make our way to Villa Gaviota to enjoy a delicious lunch. This location offers a variety of typical Cuban dishes and international options to satisfy your tastebuds.
We'll continue our tour with a panoramic view of the Cuartel Moncada, an old military barracks that is now the July 26th History Museum. This place is especially significant in the history of the Cuban Revolution because here, you can learn about the events that occurred from a completely new perspective.
After visiting Cuartel Moncada, you'll have some free time to explore Parque Céspedes (Céspedes Park), located right in the city centre of Santiago de Cuba. There, you'll enjoy a pleasant atmosphere, you'll be able to talk to and get to know the locals, and even have ice cream. Finally, we'll head to the Hotel Casa Granda viewpoint, from where you'll be able to enjoy the beautiful panoramic views of the city. Photo moment!
After a day full of discovering Santiago de Cuba, we'll return to Guardalavaca. You'll arrive back at your hotel around 13 hours after the initial pickup time.
