Hitalo es más q un guía, es un autóctono, vive en la reserva, sabe buscar comida, hierbas medicinales y ver animales, que no están preparados, los ves si tienes paciencia y suerte (vimos delfines, 1 caimán, guacamayos, 1 tortuga de agua, 1 sapo gigante, monos a lo lejos, pero ni anaconda ni perezosos). Experiencia muy autentica y nada artificial. Acampada y comidas en barco estupendas (Angela la cocinera, una persona fantástica), Rommel capitán perfecto. Única pega: conductor Iquitos-Nauta-Iquit

Hitalo is more than a guide; he's a local. He lives in the reserve and knows how to find food, medicinal herbs, and spot animals that aren't staged. You'll see them if you have patience and luck (we saw dolphins, one caiman, macaws, one freshwater turtle, one giant toad, and monkeys in the distance, but no anaconda or sloths). A very authentic and completely natural experience. Camping and meals on the boat were fantastic (Angela, the cook, was wonderful), and Rommel, the captain, was perfect. The only downside was the driver on the Iquitos-Nauta-Iquitos trip.

Great tour with pros and cons: +: Very authentic tour and cheaper than others. Small group (we were 4 pax), guide Edwin and his helper Jose did a great job. Accommodation in the lodge the first day very comfy, second night in tent is adventurous -: description lacks a bit of detail (e.g. day one is 2 hours in car to Nauta from Iquitos, then 3.5 hours in boat to the village so a long ride). Was only non-Spanish speaker which is sometimes not easy (e.g. daily breakfast conversations among others)

Actividad muy decepcionante. Quiero poner una reclamación porque los servicios recibidos no son los que contrate. Especialmente lo relacionado con el lodge y las comidas, según lo contratado el primer día comeriamos en el lodge un menu típico peruano adaptado a todos los gustos, con opción vegetariana, pollo, pescado, fruta y mucho más. La realidad consistió en un plato único comido en la barca consistente en arroz blanco frio con un hueso de gallina y dos rodajas de tomate y tres de pepino.
