On this buggy tour, you’ll drive through vast sugar cane fields, travel along the banks of the Chavón River, and relax on the beach in Bayahíbe. Ready for an authentic adventure?
At the indicated time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and take you to the starting point of the buggy route. Are you ready to feel the adrenaline as you explore some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Dominican Republic? Let’s go!
Upon arrival at the base where the buggies are located, we’ll give you a short safety briefing on how to drive the vehicles. Once we’re ready, we’ll get into the buggy and begin exploring rural roads and trails surrounded by lush vegetation.
During 3 hours of the route, we’ll see vast plantations while learning about Dominican rural life. To make the experience even more complete, we’ll stop at a sugar cane plantation and taste this valuable and sweet product freshly cut.
We’ll continue driving the buggies to the banks of the Chavón River, a true movie-like setting. Scenes from famous films such as King Kong, Rambo II, Apocalypse Now, and Jurassic Park have been filmed here.
In addition to enjoying this spectacular landscape, we’ll give you 15 minutes of free time to swim. During this stop, we’ll offer some typical snacks accompanied by hot chocolate, coffee, or traditional mamajuana.
With this pleasant experience, we’ll head to Bayahíbe Beach. Could there be a better way to end the day? In this Caribbean paradise, you’ll have 2 hours of free time to swim and relax on one of the most beautiful beaches in the country.
Finally, we’ll return to the starting point to drop off the buggies and take you back to your hotel, where we’ll arrive after a total of 9 hours of the trip.
