Turquoise-water beaches and lush vegetation… On this day trip to the Surin Islands by speedboat, we’ll discover one of the most beautiful archipelagos in the Andaman Sea, where we’ll visit a Moken village and you’ll be able to go snorkeling.
Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Phuket and head over to the Royal Phuket Marina port. Once we arrive at the pier, we’ll enjoy a light snack and set off by speedboat toward one of the most beautiful archipelagos in Thailand. It will captivate you from start to finish!
After a 4-hour crossing of the Andaman Sea, we’ll arrive at the Mu Ko Surin National Park. Welcome to the Surin Islands paradise! Our first stop will be at Ko Surin Tai, also known as the South Island.
Here, we’ll visit a Moken village made up of a community of around 70 families. They were formerly known as sea nomads, but today they live permanently in Ao Bon Yai, where they keep their traditions alive.
We’ll continue the tour through the archipelago to Koh Surin Nuea, the North Island. There, we’ll visit the idyllic Chong Khad Bay, where you’ll be able to enjoy a refreshing swim. After this dip, we’ll head to the only restaurant inside the national park to enjoy a delicious buffet-style lunch.
After lunch, you’ll have free time to explore the surroundings of Mai Ngam Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the Surin Islands. In addition, we’ll provide all the necessary equipment so that in the afternoon you can go snorkeling in its crystal-clear waters. Shallow reefs, tropical fish, and coral make up the underwater ecosystem of this captivating place.
Finally, we’ll meet again at the pier on Koh Surin Nuea and begin the return journey to the Royal Phuket Marina. Once we disembark at the port, we’ll take you back to your hotel, with arrival scheduled between 13 and 13.5 hours after pickup.
