The tour is organized very well. The people on the islands are very nice and even though they try to sell you their artisanal stuff they are not too pushy. Consider a plus 15 soles if you want to take a traditional boat from one floating island to the next one in Uros. The family on Amantanì was very nice and welcoming. In the afternoon we hiked to the highest point of the island. At the end of the hike there are some traditional dances by the population of amantaní.

Compartir experiencia con gente de las islas fue especial, me encantó el conocer las distintas islas y quedarme una noche con una familia local. No me gustó mucho el carácter del guía , Bruno, y sobre todo las 3 horas que te pegas en cada trayecto en ese barco con motores de camión antiguo, que va super lento, es una pena ese final de experiencia. Sharing the experience with the islanders was special; I loved getting to know the different islands and spending a night with a local family. I didn't much like the guide Bruno's personality, and especially the three-hour journeys on that boat with old truck engines, which goes incredibly slowly. La visita fue genial y la experiencia de dormir en casa de Wiki una pasada. Sin embargo, la excursión estuvo eclipsada por el desagradable guia Bruno… No contestaba a las preguntas, te ignoraba, no solucionaba problemas… Ademas la barca iba super lenta para ahorrar gasolina y nos hizo perder muchas horas sin motivo (habia mas barcas que nos adelantaban todo el rato). Una làstima porque el lugar y la gente es maravilloso.

The visit was great, and the experience of sleeping at Wiki's house was amazing. However, the excursion was overshadowed by the unpleasant guide, Bruno… He didn't answer questions, ignored us, and didn't solve any problems… Furthermore, the boat went incredibly slowly to save fuel, and it made us lose many hours for no reason (there were other boats passing us constantly). It's a shame because the place and the people are wonderful.

Muy buena experiencia. Lo mínimo para ver bien los 3 sitios xq el barco va muuuy lento. Islas Uros, curiosísimas Amantani, muy bien en casa de Richard&Lucrecia: baño cominitario pero muy limpio, habitación con vistas preciosas y buena cama. La fiesta vestidos con ropa típica, una "girilida", pero lo pasamos bien. A very good experience. The bare minimum to see all three sites was great, as the boat is very slow. Uros Islands, very interesting. Amantani, very nice at Richard & Lucrecia's house: shared bathroom but very clean, room with beautiful views and a good bed. The party dressed in traditional clothing was a bit of a nuisance, but we had a good time. The free sunset hike to the sanctuaries was very enjoyable. Taquile, also a very beautiful hike. El tour es muy recomendable, es una experiencia única que no puedes vivir yendo por libre. Eso sí, tiene sus cosas: están constantemente animándote y generando presión para que des propinas o compres cosas, hemos contado más de 10 veces en día y medio que dura el tour. La vista a la isla Uros es muy curiosa y da la sensación de que el paso por Taquile es para rellenar, apenas ves nada y se salva por el almuerzo con buena vistas. The tour is highly recommended; it's a unique experience you can't experience on your own. It does have its downsides, though: they're constantly encouraging you and pressuring you to tip or buy things; we counted more than 10 times in the day and a half the tour lasted. The view of Uros Island is very unusual, and it feels like the trip through Taquile is just a waste of time; you barely see anything, and it's saved by the lunch with its great views. Liscdos días fueron fantásticos. La visita a Uros fue absolutamente increíble, es maravilloso poder conocer la forma de vida de estas personas. Both days were fantastic. The visit to Uros was absolutely incredible; it's wonderful to be able to learn about these people's way of life. Dans l'ensemble, excellente excursion. Notre guide était très bien. La nuit chez les habitants était incroyable, avec des rencontres avec les locaux adorables et au petit soin. Les chambres sont confortables. Il faudrait juste préciser dans l'annonce qu'il n'y a quasiment pas de réseau pendant les 2 jours, les habitants n'ont pas l'eau courante et donc pas de douche. Le lac Titica et ses îles sont magnifiques mais l'excursion est une attraction, tout laisse penser que c'est une pièce de théâtre.. Dommage pour nous mais surtout pour les locaux qui ne semblent pas très à l'aise.. Les visites seraient bien mieux centrées sur le paysage et avec plus de visites des métiers des îles.

Lake Titicaca and its islands are beautiful, but the excursion feels like a performance; everything suggests it’s a staged show. It’s a shame for us, but especially for the locals who don’t seem very comfortable. The tours would be much better focused on the scenery and include more visits to the local crafts.

Han sido dos días maravillosos descubriendo el lago Tticaca más allá de las islas de los Uros. Si bien es curioso ver las islas de los Uros, está totalmente enfocado al turismo y por suerte la visita es corta porque es todo vender y vender. La isla de Amantaní sin palabras. La excursión es muy recomendable y merece la pena, ves todo lo que hay que ver en dos días y puedes vivir la experiencia de cómo viven, su cultura y sus costumbres de cerca. Grandes atardeceres y magníficas vistas de ambas islas (eso sí, las caminatas son breves pero intensas).
