Why Book a Ticket in Sector 9 of the Sambadrome?
Watching the Carnival in Río de Janeiro in the Sambodrome is an experience that you have to try at least once in your life. This venue, which was built specifically for the samba school parade, consists of a 700 m (2,296 ft) long avenue flanked by bleachers, boxes, and grandstands for spectators.
With this ticket, you'll have access to Sector 9 of the Sambadrome. This area is the only section of the stands with numbered seats, offering a much more comfortable experience. This sector has incredible, complete views of the entire parade.
From your seats in Sector 9, you can enjoy the vibrant sound throughout the show, as well as admire every detail of the wonderful decoration on the floats that accompany the samba schools along the route.
Each samba school will perform for at least 65 minutes, with a time limit of 82 minutes. It'll be a unique moment!

Types of Parades
During the booking process, you can choose between the following dates and options depending on the school category:
Access Group (February 5 & 6, 2027)
On Carnival Friday and Saturday, the traditional samba schools take to the avenue to compete for the coveted promotion to the Special Group. These performances are brimming with creativity, excitement, and authenticity. It's the perfect way to discover the true talent of Rio’s Carnival.
Special Group (February 15, 16, & 17, 2026)
Rio de Janeiro's largest and most famous samba schools come together for three consecutive nights. Each night, four elite schools put on grand performances featuring gigantic floats and spectacular costumes as they compete for the title of 2027 Carnival Champion.
Champions Parade (February 21, 2026)
After the results are announced, the top six schools in the Special Group return to the Sambadrome to celebrate their victory. With the pressure of the judges now behind them, this closing parade is a true celebration full of glory and joy, bringing together the very best of samba.
