We'll begin the adventure by picking you up at your hotel in Varadero to head toward the Locomotives and Sugar Museum, a fascinating place that will transport you to the past. Here we go!
Upon arrival, we'll take a guided tour to discover the historical importance of sugarcane production in Cuba while we observe the impressive steam machines used in the old José Smith Comas Mill. In addition, you will have the opportunity to try authentic guarapo, a sweet traditional drink that will refresh your palate.
We'll continue the journey to Finca Coincidencia, a charming place where you can get a close look at life in the countryside. We will be in contact with locals and visit the farm’s artisan pottery workshop to see its most original pieces.
Time for lunch! At this estate, we will also enjoy a delicious Creole meal. A feast prepared with fresh ingredients from the land that will allow you to taste authentic local cuisine.
The tour will continue at the Cárdenas Nursery, a space dedicated to the cultivation of fruit, ornamental, and medicinal plants. There, they will show us the secrets of planting, and most exciting of all, you will be able to plant your own seedling, leaving a personal legacy on the island. Your small action will have a big impact!
Finally, we will return to your accommodation in Varadero, where we will arrive approximately 7 hours later.
