On this scooter tour of the Viñales Valley, you'll visit the Indian Cave, a tobacco farm, and the famous Mural of Prehistory, painted on a stunning hill. It'll be a unique tour!
After meeting at Casa Carlos Valido, we'll assign your scooters and kick off the tour by driving on the road of Viñales until we reach the viewpoint of the Los Jazmines hotel. What a way to start the tour!
From this point, we'll admire the green valley with its mosaic of tobacco farms, palm trees, and limestone hills rising from the horizon. After taking our first photos, we'll head toward the red grounds of the Indian Cave, where the scenic views are adorned with stalactites that look like glass fangs.
We'll step into this famous cave to start a 20-minute boat ride. You'll feel like you're in a dream! As we sail along the cave's underwater river, you'll be surrounded by silhouettes that nature has sculpted with thousands of years of patience.
Once we're out of the cave and back into the light, we'll climb onto the scooters in search of a tobacco farm. Here, the farmers will show us how the seeds become smooth, aromatic leaves. Then, we'll pass by the destemming area, where you'll witness the meticulous selection that makes a distinguishably excellent Cuban cigar.
Our next stop? El Fortín, a strategic point in the Viñales Valley to glide on a zipline. We'll help you adjust your safety equipment, and we'll fly over the landscape. During the adventure, you'll see the stunning rock formations and farmland under your feet.
Then, after 40 minutes enjoying the zipline, we'll hop on our scooters and head to the iconic Mural of Prehistory, a masterpiece by Leovigildo González, a painter who represented the evolution over a colossal mogote in the Viñales Valley. How long did it take him? How did he reach the highest parts of the rock? You'll find out!
Lastly, we'll relax with a refreshing piña colada as you enjoy the environment. Finally, we'll start our journey back to the starting point in Viñales, where we'll say our goodbyes after 4 hours of adventure.
