A viagem de ida e volta foi pontual, mas pegamos muito trânsito. Quanto à visita ao Buda, é impactante. O fato de termos chegado faltando pouco tempo para anoitecer nos possibilitou ver o buda em três perspectivas diferentes: branco; ao entardecer com a iluminação rosada; e por fim em tons de roxo/lilás em contraste ao céu escuro. A lojinha achei fraca e cara. O café tem muitas opções de pasteis e doces, local amplo. A guia Maria Clara foi simpática, mas poderia ter passado mais informações. The round trip was punctual, but we hit a lot of traffic. As for the visit to the Buddha, it is impactful. The fact that we arrived with little time before sunset allowed us to see the Buddha from three different perspectives: white; at dusk with pink lighting; and finally in shades of purple/lilac contrasting with the dark sky. I found the little shop weak and expensive. The café has many options for pastries and sweets, and it's a spacious place. I loved the trip to the Great Buddha Statue! It was an amazing experience and very well organized from start to finish. The bus was quite comfortable, which made the journey even more enjoyable. The Buddha Tour was great! Please note that the purpose of this tour is solely to see the statue and take pictures. Entering the monastery is only available on Sundays and is NOT a part of this tour. We had ample time to take pictures as well as to have a pastel and cane juice (I super recommend getting the pastel). Our tour left Vila Velha at 14:15, and we were able to see the sunset behind the mountains by the time we were headed back to the city. The tour guide interacted well with the group and pointed out things for us to see along the way to the statue. On top of that, she also offered to take pics for you if needs be. I would recommend this tour to anyone seeking to see the largest Buddha in the Occident!

O local é único aqui no Brasil mas 1 hora lá é mais do que suficiente. Quem fica hospedado em Vila Velha, como eu, perde cerca de 2 horas durante a coleta de outros passageiros no respectivos hotéis, então na verdade são mais de 5 horas dentro do ônibus para aproveitar efetivamente somente 1. Apesar disso, a guia Maria Clara é muito divertida e acabou salvando o passeio. Em resumo, vale a pena conhecer o Buda do Espírito Santo, mas considere o tempo total que essa atividade demandará.

The place is unique here in Brazil, but 1 hour there is more than enough. Those staying in Vila Velha, like me, lose about 2 hours during the pickup of other passengers at their respective hotels, so in reality, it’s more than 5 hours on the bus to effectively enjoy just 1. Despite this, the guide Maria Clara is very fun and ended up saving the tour. In summary, it’s worth visiting the Buddha of Espírito Santo, but consider the total time this activity will take.
