Alejandro de Humboldt National Park Trip
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Baracoa before heading to the stunning Alejandro de Humboldt National Park, which was recognized as World Heritage by UNESCO for its rich biodiversity in 2001.
Once in the park, we'll go to Taco Bay and follow the El Recreo trail on a moderate 2-mile (3 km) trek. During the tour, we will discover the region's exotic fauna and flora, and we will climb up to a viewpoint which gives us spectacular panoramas of the bay.
We will continue exploring the paths of the park surrounded by beautiful palm trees, Mayari pines, and beautiful orchids that grow wild on the rocks. After the walk, you can take a refreshing dip in the waters in the Recreo River.
Before returning to Baracoa, you'll have some free time on the beach of Maguana. You can recharge with a delicious local lunch and enjoy the turquoise waters and fine sand of this heavenly paradise. This is the perfect reward after the morning hike.
Finally, we return to Baracoa, bringing the tour to an end as we drop you back to your hotel after a total of 8 hours.
