When booking, you can choose between the following options. Both include pickup at the selected time from your hotel in Cusco and drop-off at Plaza de Armas. Each tour lasts 6 hours.
Ready for adventure? We’ll travel by minibus to the community of Cruz Pata, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Once there, we’ll hop on the quad bikes and briefly explain the safety rules that must be followed throughout the activity.
We’ll begin the route heading toward the Inca site of Moray, where we’ll admire the concentric terraces that reveal the ingenuity of this ancient civilization. Next, we’ll continue to the Maras salt mines, where we’ll enjoy incredible views of the Urubamba mountain range and the snow-capped peaks of Verónica and Chicón.
You’ll also witness a unique landscape featuring pools measuring 5 m (16.4 ft) in diameter carved into the mountainside.
If you choose this option, we’ll first visit Huaypo Lagoon, a beautiful natural setting in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Riding the quad bikes, we’ll travel along its shores while admiring the local flora and fauna, and we’ll share many of the stories and legends surrounding this place. Could it really be true that several UFOs have landed here?
We’ll continue the quad bike tour by visiting the famous Maras salt mines, where we’ll enjoy unbeatable views of the Vilcanota River before returning to Cusco.
This tour includes pickup from hotels located in Cusco’s historic center. If you’re staying outside this area, you’ll need to make your own way to the meeting point at Plaza Regocijo.
