Ballestas Islands & Paracas National Reserve Day Trip
30 minutes before the designated time, we'll meet at the Cruz del Sur bus station in Lima. From there, we'll set off on a 4-hour bus ride to Paracas, a beautiful natural area.
The guide will be waiting for you at the station in Paracas. Once there, we'll board a bus to go to the harbour and board a speedboat, which will take us across the sea to the Ballestas Islands. Keep your eyes peeled for lots of animals when we arrive.
We'll be able to spot colonies of sea lions, Humboldt penguins and many other birds endemic to this area. During our day trip, we'll also see the Paracas Candelabra, a mysterious geoglyph related to the famous Nazca Lines.
After 2 hours, we'll return to the mainland and continue to the Paracas National Reserve. We'll explore its salt roads and get up close to the elegant flamingos that inhabit the area. Our next stop will be Lagunillas Beach to admire its beautiful landscape.
Finally, the guide will say their goodbyes and take us to the station in Paracas. Here, we'll return to the Cruz del Sur station in Lima, where we'll conclude this day trip 16.5 hours later.
