If you have several days in Nazca and want to explore the surroundings with an English speaking guide just for you, you can book any of our amazing private tours. Discover the Nazca Lines from the land. First, we will go into the Maria Reiche Museum, where we will investigate the painstaking investigation that this researcher did on these lines.
After discovering her findings, we will go to the metallic viewpoint of the Nazca Lines, from where we will see these peculiar drawings. Finally, and after contemplating the geoglyphs of the hand or the tree, we will travel to the nearby hills to observe other formations of the Nazca culture.
We will head south and head towards the Chauchilla cemetery. We will tour this ancient pre-Inca necropolis where the tombs are in the open air, and you will even encounter some mummies! We will explore the 12 tombs, discovering the characteristics of each one of them. The tour will be similar to the trip to the Chauchilla cemetery.
In this trip from Nazca, we will travel to the ceremonial center of Cahuachi, a site of the Nazca culture with pyramids made of adobe that served as a housing and ritual center. During the tour, we will walk around its ruins getting to know different structures such as the Great Temple or the roofed enclosures.
