Venture into the heart of a vibrant Cuban city on our Old Trinidad Free Tour. We'll explore Trinidad's more traditional & less touristy neighborhoods.
At the indicated time, we'll meet up at the Plazuela de Jigüe and set off on our free tour of Old Trinidad. During our tour, we'll learn all about the city's beginnings.
Did you know that the city was founded in this area? We'll learn all about its history as we visit Jigüe Square and then take a walking tour of Trinidad's historic centre. Throughout the tour, we'll hear some of the city's most famous legends.
Next, we'll turn onto the steep Desengaño Street so we can venture into some of Trinidad's most traditional neighbourhoods. As we explore these neighbourhoods, which won't be found in the pages of any guidebooks, we'll immerse ourselves in the true essence of this Cuban city.
We'll visit the neighbourhoods of La Popa, Loma de los Chivos, La Chanzoneta and Mano del Negro. These neighbourhoods in the heart of the city are rarely frequented by tourists, but they boast a rich history that we'll learn all about. We'll also see iconic monuments such as the old Santa Ana Church, where only the doorway remains.
After 3 hours of history and strolling through Trinidad, we'll return to the historic centre and finish our free tour.
